He grew up in a valley under the , deep in the , where the Order has kept its rites of holy reverie for centuries and reaches the spirit realm through great festivals of drink.
His diligence at the cup earned him the right to challenge for the title. He and the elder master drank and fought for nine days. For nine nights they staggered and spun, swallowed and swung, until the elder went down in a stupor and the Order had its new Brewmaster.
Every Brewmaster leaves with the same charge. Mangix wanders now toward enlightenment by the cask, searching for what caused the old schism between the spirit world and this one, hoping for the one thought that will make the two planes one again.
Inai welcomes Mangix to his cause as the celestials face a gathering that has yet to happen.
