Frug wants to become a hero and thinks different victims will answer Goodkind’s objection.

The story

changes the creatures he kills after questions whether looting bodies makes him a hero. She first meets him bandaging wounds beside wooden corpses. He says heroes practice on such creatures and take their coins.

Later, in Hauptstadt’s Boar’s Head, he arrives with a severed head wearing a bone mask. Hero bars have refused him entry, and he wants to know whether this tavern will do the same. He tells Goodkind that he has stopped seeking out the wooden creatures and now hunts these others instead.

Her objection to looting remains, and he angrily sends her away.

Goodkind meets Frug twice and hears how he interpreted her first objection.
