Scree'Auk Leaves the Profits
Scree'Auk lets a temple's promoter keep the profits of the shrine he is raising to her, so long as she gets the followers.
A temple's promoter will not recognize his own goddess until the two of them find something to trade.
Scree'Auk lets a temple's promoter keep the profits of the shrine he is raising to her, so long as she gets the followers. He has heard that Scree'Auk has returned and that sightings fill , and he means to get ahead of the competition with the first new temple to her, down here in secret, because her worship is still illegal. He promises donors whatever is in his bag. She tells him she is Scree'Auk, and he tells her that no offering means no bag, and to keep it moving.
He vows that generous patronage will crush the unbelievers and get everyone back to worshipping the right god, and she decides she likes the way this one thinks and will make him an offering after all. He comes around to believing her at last, and checks whether she wants cutting in on any of the profits from her own temple. She can keep them, she says; she just needs the followers. He calls it a deal and asks her to autograph his prayer scrolls.
