Darkterror rebels against when he learns that becoming an aspect of his god will erase him. He once prized his initiation as an acolyte above every honor. His pride turned to anger. He recruited other acolytes, some knowingly and others unwittingly, to control his transformation and turn Clasz's power against him.
Darkterror now directs the god's hunger toward his own enemies. Their deaths briefly satisfy Clasz and keep the usurper from being consumed. Darkterror says his resistance also keeps a dire gate barred: his completed transformation would let the god's full power flow through him and destroy the plane. He survives by finding more victims.
Darkterror asks what she thinks of killing Clasz. He tells their enemies are kin and invites him to help destroy the god. He seeks 's help to defeat Clasz and take his place. No answer comes.
The Claszian Apostasy tells of Darkterror's rebellion in his own words.
