Hobgen Takes Eeb Literally

reportedly tears through the marketplace to avenge decades-old slights against Momma Eeb. He destroys merchants' property even when the offense was thirty years ago and the business has changed hands.

Hobgen apparently finds another grievance in Eeb's journal. She felt cursed by the gods after a bad day, and he takes her exaggeration literally. He tracks down celestial beings and tries to kill them. Eeb's bad day becomes a danger to everyone he can find.

White Spire hears of Hobgen's attempted vengeance against the gods after he takes Eeb's complaint literally.

The respected and loved figure whose authority kept 's syndicates, gangs, and secret societies from tipping the city into chaos. She was murdered 'last week', whenever that was, and her death left a power vacuum. has no name for the killer yet, and her mother's place stands empty.

She had a lot of friends, her daughter says, Kunkka among them, and Wren is gathering them to get answers. She also lent money against collateral, at least to Meepo.
