Tiny claims he has never seen them, so Kerrick holds up a reflecting plate.
He once climbed the highest peak of the Vuurcrag Mountains, he says, and from up there the whole range was shaped like those circles. They walk on through sulfurous air, and Tiny seems to grow as he goes. “Yes, perhaps I began as lava,” he rumbles. “One of these volcanoes could have created me. Thank you, small one.” He trundles away, and Kerrick drops in a coughing fit.
Tiny offers the volcano as his own guess, and the older tellings of his origin still stand beside it.
