Anessix is the Mistress of Secrets, one of the four who stepped forward to claim 's place as the voice of . A broker of other people's secrets, by her own introduction, who summons a demon companion, heals her crew, and curses her opponents. She is an Earthbound demon who does her best to stay in the 's good graces while Nevermore tries to oust her from it, and who first walked the earth on the Isle of Songs.

She and Akasha cannot stand each other and have left their backbiting in the Court's halls to find common cause in White Spire. , who sees the outcomes of many realities at once, has seen something that drives him to great lengths to murder her; says that when you see him talking with her, something bad is about to happen.
