Anessix is the Mistress of Secrets, one of the four who stepped forward to claim Momma Eeb's place as the voice of White Spire. A broker of other people's secrets, by her own introduction, who summons a demon companion, heals her crew, and curses her opponents. She is an Earthbound demon who does her best to stay in the Court of Ristul's good graces while Nevermore tries to oust her from it, and who first walked the earth on the Isle of Songs.

Her politics fill White Spire's newspaper. She and Akasha cannot stand each other and have left their backbiting in the Court's halls to find common cause in White Spire. Terrorblade, who sees the outcomes of many realities at once, has seen something that drives him to great lengths to murder her; Jull says that when you see him talking with her, something bad is about to happen.

Davion did not take kindly to being enthralled by her and now, as Slyrak, leads dragons to exact bloody justice. Axe, who hates demons like every Oglodi, learned of her existence and knew he had to say hello. The agents of the Flayed Twins have taken a particular interest in the role she will play.

In White Spire she turned to Little Revtel and its money and secrets, and tried Port Slipshade while Jull was busy. She wants every caster in the city on her payroll rather than under the Sapphire Conclave's eye. When traditional cutthroats failed to kill Hobgen, she turned to her friends in the underworld.

Her thrall Brill stands at her door, and a fence sells a Necronomicon with her name written inside the cover.
