Khan of the Red Mist, the barbaric Oglodi horde. Her people were once peaceful artisans until the Tarnsmen razed their great city and drove them to war. Sorla revived the Red Mist army after Axe, who had murdered his way to its command, left it in ruins, and now hunts him.

She names herself the Oglodi's savior, not a conqueror. Long has she dreamed of rebuilding Barzum, and when Demnok Lannik lifted its curse she declared that the Oglodi would wander no more and go home to rebuild their empire. A year before that she had bought Stonehall's patience with a promise to destroy the Abyssal Horde, and when she kept it, met Tresdin alone at a ruined border outpost and talked her into a leisurely campaign westward instead of a conquest of weakened Druud.
